The course content includes:

  • Manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s handbook, additional information sources and all relevant regulations and legislation

  • All pre-use machine checks on an agricultural tractor

  • Travelling over rough, undulating ground, substantial inclines

  • Surface levelling with mounted and trailed implements

  • Manoeuvring in confined spaces with trailed and mounted implements

  • Attaching and setting trailed implements

  • Attaching and setting mounted implements

  • Attaching and setting power take-off drives

  • All actions to take for hazards, underground and overhead services

  • Operating a mounted or power-driven implement

  • Removing and storing trailed and mounted implements

  • Carrying out shut down and securing procedures

  • Loading and unloading procedures for machine transporting
